Morley Veterinary Centres
HISTORY OF THE PRACTICE
The practice was bought from Maurice Kirk by Peter and Giles Morley in 1977. The Bridge Street surgery is the site of Taunton's original veterinary practice with a history going back to before the first World War. Tim Spotswood joined the partnership in the early 1980's followed several years later by John Banham.
In May 1995 the new purpose built premises in Lisieux Way were opened and the two centres are run in parallel. All major surgery and complex investigations are performed at Bridge Street, but for general consultations you may prefer Lisieux Way, which has easier parking facilities.
In January 2001 Morley Partners was proud to become incorporated into CVS(UK)Ltd which has enabled it to develop further to meet the demands of the new Millennium.

HOME VISITS
We are happy to carry out home visits where requested. However, the examination and treatment of your pet is usually best carried out at the surgery, where the necessary equipment and experienced staff are to hand.
ROAD ACCIDENTS
While we understand how distressing it is if your pet is involved in a road accident, prompt hospitalisation can be life saving and it can take at least twice as long to visit a road accident and then transport the animal back to the surgery as it would to come straight to the surgery, using a blanket as a stretcher if necessary.
FACILITIES
Our aim is to continually improve our facilities and standards of care available to your pets. Our Veterinary Surgeons, Nurses and Pet Health Counsellors attend regular continuing educations courses and we provide a wide range of surgical and diagnostic equipment.
COMMENTS AND COMPLAINTS
We aim to offer the highest possible standards of service and care to you and your pet. However, if you are not happy with any aspect of our service please contact one of the directors. We value all comments.
