Harbour Vets moves to new larger practice within Dobbies Havant
16th January 2023
New £1m site will offer more appointments and services to give the best care to local pets
CVS Group Harbour Vets in Havant has moved to a new larger practice within Dobbies Garden Centre on Barton Road, just over one mile away.
The practice now occupies a new 3,000 square foot building, which is almost double the size of its previous Manor Close surgery. It is located at the rear of Dobbies Havant garden centre.
CVS has invested over £1million to relocate and upgrade Harbour Vets new practice. The spacious new surgery houses the latest veterinary facilities and equipment, including three consulting rooms, a cutting-edge operating theatre, an in-house laboratory, dental suite, and digital x-ray facilities. To keep stress to a minimum for patients, the practice has a spacious reception area with separate waiting areas for cats and dogs, and separate dog and cat hospital wards. Harbour Vets signage has also been given a facelift with a fresh new logo.
The new larger site will enable Harbour Vets to increase the number of clients it serves and expand the range of clinical services it offers to pets in the locality. It’s expanding team will look after the practice’s clients and give the best possible care to their pets.
Harbour Vets new location means clients will also be able to enjoy Dobbies’ dog-friendly facilities. The store welcomes pets, has a pet department featuring pet food, toys and accessories, and a dedicated dog-friendly area in the restaurant.
Kim Howe, Practice Director at Harbour Vets, said: “Our new practice in Dobbies Havant is a much better site with a superb range of facilities. It’ll mean that our colleagues can provide the best clinical care for our patients and that we’ll be able to treat more animals.”
Graeme Jenkins, Dobbies CEO, said: “At Dobbies, we are committed to working with companies that share our values. Harbour Vets’ offering perfectly complements our dog-friendly approach, making the Havant store an ideal destination for local pet owners.”
The new practice is located at the rear of Dobbies Garden Centre and can be accessed via the main entrance. There is ample parking for clients and animal patients and full disabled access.
The previous Harbour Vets Practice was based in a property on Manor Close, in the heart of Havant. The new site will work closely and complement the range of services already offered by Harbour Veterinary Group branches in North End, Drayton, Hayling Island, Southsea and Waterlooville.
