CVS colleagues and clients raise over £75,000 for StreetVet
CVS’ colleagues and clients have raise have raised over £75,000 for StreetVet since July 2025.
The money raised from the collaboration will help StreetVet to deliver much needed free accessible veterinary care to the pets of those experiencing homelessness by taking the practice to the pavement, providing essential medical supplies, preventative treatments and daily pet essentials, as well as helping to support initiatives like the StreetVet Accredited Hostel and Day Centre Scheme.
To raise funds, CVS colleagues have held numerous fundraising events including sponsored walks, bake sales and dog shows. CVS has also hosted Pennies’ ‘digital charity boxes’ at its client payment points within 400 of its companion animal practices and referrals hospitals throughout the UK. Pennies has enabled clients to choose to make small donations when paying with their card or mobile wallet.
This is the second time that the veterinary group’s colleagues voted for StreetVet to be their Charity of the Year.
