Additional six sites relocated to new purpose-built facilities

CVS made improvements to around 70 practices in the last financial year, making use of a multi-million pound fund.

It includes many sites where the improvement is focused on colleagues, including rest areas and kitchen facilities. The client’s experience is also being prioritised with refurbishments to reception and consulting rooms. Patients are also being improved with the installation of additional dental x-ray and other facilities.

The practices that received refurbishments or improvements have been prioritised after consultation with regional directors across the UK.

They include the installation of a new staff and office facility and car-parking at Clarendon House, improvements to reception and client facing areas at vets, dental x-ray and flooring works at Grove Vets, and air-conditioning installation at Twyford Veterinary Clinic.

In addition, six practices are being relocated to new purpose-built premises featuring CVS’ minimum practice facility standard. This standard has been designed by the group’s vets, nurses, practice managers and receptionists, who came together to outline what a good practice looked like.

These include Harbour Veterinary Hospital in Portsmouth and White Oak Vets which has moved from South Hetton to Peterlee.
