Broadleaf Vets is offering a free first consultation for new clients or those registering a new pet
Pet owners in Sheffield are to benefit from a brand-new, state-of-the-art veterinary practice as Broadleaf Vets opens its doors in Broadfield Business Park today.
The £1.58 million facility, just off Abbeydale Road, will offer advanced veterinary care in a spacious 7,000 square foot building, designed with both pets and owners in mind.
To mark its opening, Broadleaf Vets is offering a free first consultation for new clients or those registering a new pet. This offer is valid for one cat, dog, or rabbit per client and runs until 9th February 2026, subject to veterinary surgeon availability[i].
The new practice features the latest equipment and facilities, including five consulting rooms, spacious operating theatres, a specialist dental suite and an imaging suite - offering ultrasound, echocardiography and X-ray services. An in-house laboratory will also support rapid diagnostics and treatment.
The practice has also been designed to minimise stress for animal patients, with a large reception area featuring separate waiting zones for cats and dogs, as well as dedicated hospital wards for each species. New walk-in kennels have been built to accommodate larger dog breeds comfortably. A Serenity Suite also provides a private, peaceful space for end-of-life care.
Broadleaf Vets will be staffed by a highly skilled team of eight veterinary surgeons, seven veterinary nurses, and five support staff, offering a wide range of services for companion animals. In addition to routine consultations and surgery, the team will provide:
- Cardiology clinics led by a certificate holder in cardiology;
- Pain clinics and acupuncture with an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in anaesthesia;
- Behaviour clinics;
- Puppy and Kitten clubs; and,
- Specialist nurse clinics for senior pets, diabetic care, and weight management.
The practice will also run The Healthy Pet Club, a preventative healthcare plan designed to give pet owners peace of mind. Members receive regular veterinary-prescribed treatments including six-monthly health checks, annual vaccinations, monthly flea and worming treatments, 10% off vet fees, and fixed-price dental work. By joining, clients can save up to £200 annually, with costs spread evenly across the year[ii].
