CVS Group Plc Customer Research Community – Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern ‘CVS Group Plc Research Community’ prize draws on behalf of CVS Group Plc Limited (“CVS Group Plc”, “we” and “us”), (each a “Prize Draw”).

Please read them carefully. By entering a Prize Draw, participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

How to Enter: 

  1. Each Prize Draw is free to enter upon completion of the relevant survey and you will be automatically entered into the Prize Draw (unless you tell CVS Group Plc that you do not want to be entered into such Prize Draw).
  2. CVS Group Plc accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind. CVS Group Plc accepts no responsibility for any purchases which are not completed for any reason.
  3. A Prize Draw will open on the date when an email is sent by CVS Group Plc to applicable participants giving details of the relevant survey and Prize Draw and how to enter. The same Prize Draw will close at 9 AM on the date falling seven (7) days after such Prize Draw opened. All surveys must be completed and received by CVS Group Plc before the Prize Draw closes for the participant to be entered into the Prize Draw.
  4. Participants must be registered with a CVS veterinary practice order to accept a prize if they win.

Eligibility: 

  1. To be eligible to win, you must be a UK resident aged 18 years or over, except employees of CVS Group Plc, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.
  2. In entering the Prize Draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.
  3. CVS Group Plc may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw.

The Prize:

  1. For each research project, the prizes will be clearly stated at the stage of recruitment. Competition awards are changed from time to time, and participants should check the amount stated in the competition notice. The amounts stated in the competitive supersede any amounts stated here.
  2. The Prize Draw will consist of 10 prizes of £50 in John Lewis Vouchers:

Winners: 

  1. The decision of CVS Group Plc regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  2. The winners will be randomly selected by a computer process on [the day after the Prize Draw closes] (or on the next applicable working day if the Prize Draw closes on or immediately prior to a weekend or bank holiday).
  3. The winners will be notified by CVS Group Plc about their prize via email on the same date that the winners are selected (using details provided upon entry) (“Prize Notification”).  Each winner is required to reply to the Prize Notification to accept their prize.
  4. If a winner does not accept their prize within seven (7) days of such Prize Notification being sent to the winner, he/she will forfeit the prize The prize (John Lewis vouchers) shall be sent within [seven (7) days] of a winner replying to the Prize Notification. John Lewis vouchers will be delivered direct to the winner’s email provided upon entry to the Prize Draw.
  5. We may require a winner to confirm, by way of signature in writing, their agreement to matters referred to in these Terms and Conditions as a condition of accepting a prize.
  6. The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash or voucher alternatives are offered.
  7. CVS Group Plc must either publish or make available information that indicates a valid Prize Draw took place. To comply with this obligation CVS Group Plc will send the first name and county of prize winners to anyone who emails admin@cvsvets.com within one month after the closing date stated in condition 2 above. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact CVS Group Plc via admin@cvsvets.com. In such circumstances, CVS Group Plc must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

GDPR

  1. For all Prize Draws, rest assured that CVS Group Plc will never pass a participant’s data to any third party or publish the names of the prize winners on our website or any other public forum. CVS Group Plc follow the provisions of the Data Protection Act 2018. CVS Group Plc are registered with the ICO, with registration number is Z7208449. For more information on your rights and how CVS Group Plc processes data, please see our Privacy Notice. All personal data participants have shared with us e.g. email address are stored securely with only the marketing team able to access, for a period of twelve months after the date of the Prize Draw. Personal data is used to contact you about market research projects and prizes..

General

  1. The Promoter of the Prize Draw is CVS Group Plc, CVS House, Owen Road, Diss, Norfolk IP22 4ER (“CVS Group Plc”, “we” and “us”).
  2. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
  3. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  4. CVS Group Plc accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind.
  5. If any part of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall remain valid and enforceable.
  6. CVS Group Plc’s failure to act with respect to a breach of these Terms and Conditions does not waive its right to act with respect to subsequent or similar breaches.
  7. The headings in these Terms and Conditions are for ease of reference only and do not affect the interpretation or construction of these Terms and Conditions.
  8. You and we each submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
  9. These Terms and Conditions and the Prize Draw are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
