CVS Group is delighted to announce the acquisition of its 503rd veterinary branch today.
Silverton Vets is a three site small animal practice situated around Paignton employing 23 staff. The previous owner, Cath Meakin will be continuing post acquisition, with Cath taking on the role of Clinical Director.

CVS employs over 6,000 colleagues, including over 1,500 vets and 2,000 nurses. The company owns over 207 practices across 503 sites in the UK, Republic of Ireland and Netherlands across small animal, large animal and equine specialisms including eight small animal referral hospitals and seven equine referral hospitals. CVS also operates four laboratories which perform diagnostic services for the veterinary industry, seven pet crematoria, two buying groups, MiVetClub and Vetshare, an online business Animed Direct, an instrumentation business Vetisco, MiPet Insurance and preventative healthcare programmes The Healthy Pet Club with over 385,000 members and Horse Health Programme.
